2015 Presentation Dinner

In February Trent Valley BS held its Annual Dinner at the Castle Hotel in Hatton, Derbyshire. Forty eight members attended the Dinner which the cost was subsidised by the club as a thank you to its members for there support over the past year.

In addition 9 ladies Dawn Mellor, Lynne Dailley, Valerie Roberts, Caroline Wildes, Irene Bowley, Rachel Terheege, Nancy Hill, Pam Arnold and Emma Roby received a gift from Geoff Bowley and Trevor Terheege in appreciation for all the work that they have done for the Club in the past year.

However as usual the high light of the evening was the Presentation of the Award for Member of the Year. This was a close fought contest with the Trophy going to Geoff Bowley. Since resigning as Chairman Geoff has continued to support the Club and organisers 2 aviary visits around the Country each year. Geoff & Irene also hold a BBQ at their house each summer, assists in the running of all the Trent Valley Shows and has gained a lot of Sponsors for our Specialist & Rare Show.
