 Geoff Bowley

Geoff is one of the most recognised and respected members within the budgerigar fancy.

Geoff has a 20" x 10" shed, this includes 2 large flights and 32 breeding cages. Geoff keeps Normals, Cinamons, Opalines, Yellowfaces, Spangles, Dom pieds, Albinos and Lacewings.

Geoffs proudest moment is seeing his father Derek Bowley win the World BS show in 1977 with a Normal Sky Blue Cock and buying the champaigne afterwards :).


Geoff has always been succesful at every level winning all 6 major specials at the BS club show as well as multiple CC's and multiple section awards although the pinical was following his fathers footsteps winning best in show at the BS Club Show in 1995 again with a Normal Sky Blue Cock.
More recently Geoff had further success at this prestigeous event, winning Best Young Bird in Show in 2011

Bill & Malc Hough

Bill & Malc have 44 breeding cages in their 25x12 shed, this includes 4 inside flights and also 4 outside flights.

Bill has a soft spot for Dilutes, and Malc's favorites are Dom Pieds. They have a good family of Spangles, also a nice family of Yellowfaces.

The partnership have won many awards including Best in Show this year with a young Normal Grey cock. They have also done their fair share of winning at the BS club show.

Both said their ambition is to win Best In Show at the BS club show, also they would like to judge abroad.

Sam Wildes

Sam started breeding budgies in 1996 when he joined the B.S as a Junior where he won Best Junior
at the B.S Club show for 3 years in the row. He has recently gone in to partnership with his father Nigel Wildes.

With his success under his belt he moved into the Beginner section in 2004 a year earlier then neccessary and has progressed through to Intermediate winning a large number of awards along the way with him being most known for his quality Recessive Pieds and Albinos.

Sam & Nigel have a 40ft x 12ft birdroom, this includes 3 large flights, 2 nursery cages, 48 breeding cages and a fully working kitchen area.



Gordon Mellor

Gordan has a 12" x 10" shed, it includes 18 breeding cages, 8 stock cages, 1 big flight and 1 small flight.

Gordan's favorite colour is a normal grey, but he also keeps normals, opalines, cinamons, spangles and a few yellowfaces and dominant pieds.

Gordan's proudest moment was getting in the top 10 in Intermediate Breeder at BS club show.

Gordan's ambition like a lot of others is to win Best In Show at the BS club show.


AR & TR Terheege

 InThe Champion Partnership of AR & TR Terheege crosses 3 generations consisting of Trevor Terheege, his son Adrian and his father Terry breeding all main stream varieties including Normals, Cinnamons, Dominant Pieds, Spangles and Dilutes across 3 separate aviaries in the Midlands and Bedfordshire.
 
The AR & TR Partnership have been breeding and exhibiting budgerigars since 1989 although Trevor and Terry did have a spell in the hobby back in the 1950's with good success through Junior to Intermediate sections. In 2016 Adrian's partner Emma also joined the partnership with her specialising in Dilutes and Recessive Pieds


Brian Lander

Brian has a brick built bird room, which is 15ft x 11ft. He has 30 breeding cages and 2 flights.
Brian has a very good family of Normals, he also keeps opalines, cinnamon, Spangles and Yellowfaces.

Brian's proudest moment to breed the Sky Blue hen that won best young bird in show at Trent Valley Youngstock show. Brian also claimed Best youngbird at Trent Valleys members show with a sky blue hen.

Brians ambitions are "to move forward and breed better birds".



Ron Bastin

Ron is the clubs Vice President based in Uttoxeter.

Ron has 2 shed's 12ft x 10ft, one is a breeding room with 28 cages in, some wire, wooden & plastic cages.
The other is a stock room with 2 flights in and some stock cages. Ron keeps Spangle's, Normals, Cinamons, Opalines and Red eyes.

Ron's proudest moment was winning his first CC with an Albino hen in 2008. Ron has  won alot of colour awards in his section with spangle's and red eyes. His ambition is to "continue to move forward for as long as possible, and to see Burton Albion FC in the premieship".

Gill Walker

Gill is the clubs Trophy Steward based in Stretton.

Gill has a 10" x 6" breeding room, with a 10" x 4" flight. She has 12 breeding cages.

Gill keeps mainly blues, but also has spangles, dom pieds, cinamons & yellowfaces.

Gills proudest moment was breeding a very good grey green cock that won best grey green at a Trent Valley show for her.

Gill has won major awards in both beginner and now novice.

Gill's ambition is to win Best in Show at Trent Valley.
